“O has all the hallmarks of Ozkaya’s oeuvre: humor, daring, and a complex, philosophical conceit — how do you really know where you are, or what is real — imagined in the simple, ephemeral form of a bubble. And again, the echoes of art history: during the 17th century, the theme Homo bulla est (man is a bubble) was popular among Dutch masters.
